STEELFAB 2010 GETS READY TO WELCOME THE REGIONAL INDUSTRY IN METAL WORKING & STEEL FABRICATION |

SteelFab 2010 will be a comprehensive sourcing platform for all types of metal-working, metal-manufacturing and all specialised segments of the steel fabrication industry. Suppliers who have confirmed their presence for the forthcoming show in surface preparation and blasting include Airblast, Blastrac, Euroblast, Eurogrit, Gietart, Mec Shot Blasting, Rosler, Shotblast Engineering Services, Surface Preparation Eqpt (SPE), and Wheelabrator Allevard among others. Galvanising plant suppliers like Maccabeo & Gimeco will be in attendance, while other painting and finishing needs will be furnished by suppliers such as B&M, Elcometer, Graco, Spraybooth Technology Ltd and Sulzer Metco. Grinding and cutting will continue to be an interesting segment at SteelFab with suppliers such as Awuko, Brobo Group, Cibo, Dronco, Evolution, Fayek, Fein, Felisatti, Grindwell – Supraflex, Milwaukee, Podim, Ramset, Rhodius, Rodcraft, Sunbird, Trumpf Power Tools, Vitex and VSM displaying the latest in abrasives, cutting discs and power tools. SteelFab will continue to showcase a wide range of sheet metal machinery including press brakes, shears, bending, punching, turret punch presses, laser presses, coil handling, coil forming, leveling and pan brakes, which can cater to almost any requirement of a sheet metal converter. Machines on display will offer a complete range from different manufacturers including ACL, Baykal, Bradbury Group, Comifo, Dener, Dispa, Emmegi, Ermaksan, Euromac, Falcon, Finn-power, Fintek, Gelber Bieger, GM Gruppo Maccabeo, GMG, Knuth, LFK, Mac, Omega, Prima Industrie, Pullmax, Sahinler, Somo, Tecnopromec, Trumpf, Vox and others. Plate and section bending machines will also be on display at SteelFab 2010 including brands such as Akyapak, Davi, Faccin, Jammes, Lienhsien, MG, Sahinler, Stierli-Bieger, Tauring, and Zopf. Structural steel fabrication machinery like beam drilling lines, beam coping, angle drilling, plate processing centres have always been a star attraction at SteelFab. The 2010 edition will showcase fabrication machines from Ficep, FIN CNC, Kaltenbach, Hangzhou Zhongyuan, Sierra Sabi and Voortman. “Tube & Pipe Machinery” will be a special focus segment at SteelFab 2010. Visitors from the process, oil & gas, shipbuilding, MEP, pipelines and other pipe & tube user industries, will greatly benefit from interaction with exhibitors in this segment, who will update them on the latest machinery, equipment & technology available for the pipe and tube industry. CNC cutting systems with plasma, oxy-fuel and waterjet are expected to be a major attraction at SteelFab and suppliers like Akyapak, Baykal, Boda, Dama, Flow, Hankwang, HGG, HPM, Hydrajet, Kelpe, Kinetic, KR Electronics, Magmaweld, Messer, Proarc, Resato, Retro System, Soitaab, Techni Waterjet, Waterjet Corporation, Yildrim will be addressing the cutting needs of the visiting steel fabricators. Also available at the show will be software from Acecad, AFT, Jetcam, Sigmanest and Tekla. Testing and measurement solutions can be sourced from brands such as Au-rite, Elcometer, Faro, Nanojura, Oxford Instruments, Scinco, Shimadzu, Sony Precision Technology, Stabila Messgerate, TQC and others. SteelFab 2009 hosted more than 600 brands in a total exhibition area of 18,000 square metres. SteelFab 2010 is expected to be slightly bigger in size than the previous exhibition. Exhibitors and brands will come from Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan (ROC), Turkey, the UAE, the UK and the US. As in the past, product presentations and seminars will he organised alongside the show and are expected to attract good attendance.
